I felt like taking the time to pay homage to one of my FAV artists of the 80's, which is Phil Collins. In my opinion if you are not a fan, you’re a LAME, lol. Point blank Phil is beyond Dope!!!! We'd have him playing non-stop in my house. Just picture it, a young girl in the South Bronx blasting Phil Collins out the window, can you say random?! Hahaha. Yet, it was so true, growing up I listened to everything from The Beatles, to Lisa Lisa & Cult Jam, to Stevie Wonder to Big Daddy Kane and the list goes on. With that being said, as you can see I love all genres of music and Phil Collins was definitely on my top 5 list. His songs were a mixed between melancholy, soft rock and pop…I couldn't really put it in one category, it was just HOT. My fav song of his would have to be a tie between "Groovy Kind Of Love" or "In The Air Tonight". I remember when I 1st heard that song in Tom Cruise's movie "Risky Business". It was one of the dopest love scenes & that was playing in the background, I totally fell in love!! Anyhoo…I gotta give props where props are due to Phil Collins. Hands down, I don’t care what anyone says-no matter who you are when that beat drops in "In The Air Tonight" you cannot tell me that you don't get super crunk, lol!!!! Do da damn thang Phil. Here are some of my favorite vids by Mr. Collins that I wanted to share, enjoy….

Tis the season 4 shoplifting?!?!?! BOI STOP....
With the holidays approaching...I know there are some folk that may have the itch to act out. Listen people, times are hard on the blvd and folks are working real hard to make ends meet/ save up for xmas. The last thing we need is to have our hard earned money being taken from us by muggers. I am NOT having it this year!!!! Also, pls quit it with the stealing from stores…..my bff Shaneka told me how she caught some ppl shoplifting @ the Gap, I mean really? My thing is, if you cannot not afford to get it, let it be and wait til your doe is right. Be eaaaaaaasssssssyyyyyyyyy and stop that lame ish! All I know is that if I find someone trying to get too close to my pockets, bets believe I'm ripping someone's esophagus out!!! Sidebar- Now if there is a huge riot and windows are broken in a store and you have random Gucci items hanging out everywhere and it's a free for all. Then, maybe then I say grab something, lmao:) I kid I kid, heehee. With that being said- Happy Holidays and folks pls don't act a fool!!!!

Music: New Robin Thicke Video..."Sex Therapy".....
I've had the pleasure on meeting Robin several times, he is not just a musical genius but also a really sweet and HILARIOUS guy. I also learned that we both have a crazy obsession with rosaries, lol. I've always loved his music ever since "Cherry Blue Skies"...he always had a different sound and was never afraid to take his music to another level. Well, he is making a comeback with a new sound and a new album. Here is the video to his 1st single "Sex Therapy" which is typical smooth and sexy Robin Thicke, he never dissapoints me. Enjoy folks....

Random: A.I. coming to NYC?!?!
So, the Knicks are trying to make a decision as to whether or not they should pick my boy Allen Iverson. I personally fell off of my basketball game…I used to be a big followerer of the sport, sad to say that I am slacking a lil. I was a huge A.I. fan when he was with the Sixers, I'll never forget screaming from the top of my lungs w/ my mama and bro watching his games. We'd always laugh at his mom in the audience who was so cute cheering her boy on. Although, A.I. got a bad rap at times off the court, he was and (to me) still is a dope player. I def think that he would be a great contribution to the Knicks team, maybe I may be a Knicks fan after this, lmao. Sidebar- I know I am a New Yorker and all but I have to say that the Knicks are not my fav team in the world-I'm just saying…..Yet, we shall see what the outcome will be!!!
