My Life: Country Time 4 the holidays......

I can't stress enough on how much I heart the South. Over the Thanksgiving holiday I headed to Alabama w/ my baby to get a taste of his world. Although, I didn't get a chance to milk a cow like I wanted to, lol. I did get the total country life experience. Not only was his family amazing to be around, but the food was to die for!!! It was a huge relief to be away from the hustle and bustle of NYC for a bit. Just a little city girl w/ her country boy, definitely good times! This was hands down one of the best Thanksgivings that I've had in a long time, especially since my mom has passed. Thanks baby to you & your family for making it a great holiday for me. Xoxo....

New Album: R. Kelly "Untitled"......

It's been a minute since we've heard any material from The R.  Although, his name is always in controversy he still seems to have time to get in the studio and make those hits.  Today he drops is 10th studio album, "Untitled"...YES, 10th!  I heard a few snippets and was a bit disappointed.  Don't get me wrong, he does have a few "typical" R. Kelly love making songs, which he is notorious for.  All in all, ehhhh...maybe I should give it another chance and listen to it a few times so it can grow on me.

Legend Spotlight.......

It never ceases to amaze me on how Bob Marley takes my breath away. As I was going through random videos last night, I stumbled upon this rare footage of his funeral. Although, it's been years since his death, seeing this still leaves me speechless. His wisdom on life, society and equality intrigues me. Also, not to mention the fact that he was a musical genius!!!!! I always respected his positive and carefree outlook on life. As you will hear in this video even down to his last few days, he always remained spiritually grounded. Gotta love this man, RESPECT!! Enjoy folks:)
