Prince's Protegees:

Being that I am a MASSIVE fan of Prince "the purple one"….I wanted to pay homage to his protegees who were just as FIERCE as he was. Not only was Prince a musical genius himself, he also had an amazing eye/ear for talent! Prince didn't just discover these ladies but collaborated with them, wrote, produced and arranged their songs…SICK SICK SICK! Here are some of my favorite ladies of the 80's …which I call the "Purple girls". Vanity, Sheila E., Apollonia and Sheena Easten!
