This morning popular 80's teen idol Corey Haim passed away from a drug overdose. Just about any girl who grew up in the 80's had a crush on this kid. Well, maybe not "any" girl but I know I did, lol. He was best known for his roles in "Lucas" and my personal favorite "The Lost Boys"-which also starred his BFF Corey Feldman. It's sad to see yet another childhood actor lose his life to something as foolish as drugs. My heart is STILL aching from River Phoenix OH BOY…that was a hard one *sigh*. Sorry, still trying to get past that, but back to Corey...he was with his mother at the time of his death. Haim was found unresponsive in his apt and was rushed to St. Joseph's Medical Center where he was pronounced dead. A life lost at 38 years old again, Rest In Peace Corey and thanks for the great movies.....
***Sidebar-Totally random but I had to throw River in here somewhere just because-ahhhhhhh :( At least his younger brother Joaquin Phoenix carries on his legacy!
